Our future ...

Mark Weiser, one of the foremost researchers at the legendary Xerox PARC, published his essay on "The Computer for the 21st Century" back in 1988. He predicted that it would not be long before everyday objects such as coffee machines, light switches and shopping bags would be able to communicate with each other via continuously available wireless networks. Weiser called this "Ubiquitous Computing" (or Ubicomp) for short. Today we call it "The Web of Things"

The last twenty years have clearly revealed the fundamental effects "Ubiquitous Computing" is having - or will have - on our lives. At ASP One, we actively deploy our products and the concepts behind them to implement Ubicomp for the benefit of our clients.
